Oh, spring... how I can`t wait to feel the fresh spring air... to see all those pretty flowers in the garden... and to drink my coffee on our porch ♥

Last year, my hubby made a big farmhouse table for us. It is so perfect for outdoor living. He found many great DIY projects on YouTube and Pinterest so it wasn`t so difficult to make. As a finish we used white acrylic paint.

Ach, jar... ako sa neviem dočkať čerstvého jarného vzduchu... vidieť všetky tie pekné kvety v záhrade... a piť kávu na našej terase ♥

Minulý rok nám manžel vyrobil veľký "farmhouse" stôl. Je dokonalý na terasu. Návod ako ho vyrobiť našiel na YouTube a Pintereste. V skutočnosti ich tam bolo strašne veľa a tak to nebolo až také zložité. Ako náter sme zvolili biely Balakryl, ktorý používame na všetky naše vonkajšie projekty.

Saturday Sparks

We are in the second half of August. This time when roses bloom again. Many perennials are in their final bloom and are preparing for late summer and fall (don`t wanna even think about it)...

I set up (with my husband`s help of course) a small space where I placed my vintage bottle collection for the summer. I like to display them during this season - they look very fresh and summery.

I pick a few flowers that a currently blooming every week so I can enjoy them inside too.

Every time I come across (and it is toooo many times during the day because little Daniel is crawling and runnig right now and nothing in the world is more interesting) it cheers and inspires me ♥ At the moment there are roses, especially David Austin - Auscot, Sweet Pea and sage.

Sme v druhej polovici Augusta. Čase, kedy ruže opäť kvitnú. Dokvitá mnoho trvaliek a záhrada sa pripravuje na neskoré leto a jeseň (na to slovo nechcem ani pomyslieť)... 

Doma som si pripravila (pomohol mi samozrejme manžel) malý kútik, kde som si na leto umiestnila zbierku vintage fľašiek. V lete ich rada vystavujem, sú svieže, letné.

Každý týždeň si nazbieram niekoľko kvetín, ktoré práve kvitnú a takýmto spôsobom si ich vychutnávam aj doma. Stále keď idem okolo (čo je momentálne veeeeeľmi často, keďže malý Daniel lozí, behá a nič na svete pre neho nie je zaujímavejšie) ma moja malá výstavka okúzli a inšpiruje ♥ Práve teraz sú to ruže, hlavne David Austin - Auscot, hrachor voňavý a šalvia.

That`s how we enjoy our last hot summer days... Tomorrow should be the last day with temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius. Tomorrow is also the first school day for children and us teachers. Let`s see how this year will be...

Tak takto si užívame posledné horúce dni... Zajtra by mal prísť už posledný. A zajtra sa tiež začína nový školský rok pre deti a nás učiteľov. Som zvedavá, aký bude...

Lately I like to drink frape in my new cups and read a book in the hammock on our porch.

Nedávno som v obchode našla takéto milé poháre. Vychutnávam si studené frape a hojdaciu sieť.

I added my latest flea market finds to the shelf - cinnamon jar, some ironstone and this monogrammed linen towel...

Na police som pridala najnošie úlovky z blšáku - nádobku na škoricu, keramiku a kuchynskú utierku s monogramom...

 

I have to admit that I`m in love with IB Laursen ironstone.

Musím sa priznať, že mám veľmi rada aj keramiku od IB Laursen.
